Service Policy

With 10+ years in the PC servicing business Action Computer takes a great deal of pride in being the number-1 choice in the St. Louis Metro East area when it comes to computer repair. We ask you to schedule an appointment to smooth our work flow, save you wasted time without your equipment, and to increase customer satisfaction. When you bring your PC in for a repair we require a $45 deposit up front to pay for our Diagnostic charge. We normally diagnose most problems within a 30 minute period. If we can, we will fix that device in that timeframe unless parts are required, in which case we need your permission and in some cases advance payment for the parts. If we have to special order the part several days are required-to find it and price it, get your approval and payment, get it shipped in, and install it. Please be patient. Of course, if it is a “MUST HAVE NOW!” situation, we can express ship it and EMERGENCY SERVICE it for an extra charge. If your PC requires the Windows be reinstalled you must own a valid operating system, Certificate of Authenticity with Product Code, and software media (CD). We subscribe to Microsoft’s licensing requirements and we will not install an illegal Windows operating system.
